Best Roblox Obby Games 2026: 8 Picks for October, Ranked

Obbies are a Roblox staple, and on the afternoon we checked, the biggest one was the most-played game of any kind on the public tracker Rolimons. +1 Speed Keyboard Escape had more than 4.6 million people playing at the same moment during the past 30 days.

It's only No. 5 on this list, though. We rank obbies by how much of the challenge comes from the course itself, and that rule puts a game with no checkpoints at all on top.

The July edition of this list didn't hold up. Seven of its eight games no longer clear our bars and, as a result, it has been rebuilt for October with dated public numbers.

For this list, an obby is an obstacle course: stages to clear, jumps to land and falls that cost you progress. Games that use the word for a building loop are left to other lists.

Small creators break through here, too. No. 4, Carry the Glass Together!, is the first Roblox game of a self-described solo developer, according to its own page, and two more of our picks are published under a single creator's account.

The Three Ways An Obby Goes Wrong

This list keeps one rule from its first edition: an obby is worth your time when the difficulty comes from the platforming rather than the store page. Nearly every bad obby breaks that rule in one of three ways:

• Rage bait. Blind jumps, invisible platforms and hazards you can't read in advance. Practice can't fix difficulty that comes from withheld information.
• Pay-to-skip. A stage-skip pass becomes a problem when the course is tuned to sell it. The tell, on a game's own page, is an offer to buy your way past a stage.
• Ad farming. Sponsored portals and full-screen prompts that arrive before the first real jump. In that case, the course is the wrapper, and your attention is the product.

Where a game's own page sells speed, skips or shop items, the entry below says so plainly. That way, you can decide for yourself whether it changes anything.

How We Ranked These

This is an editorial ranking built on public information, and here's exactly where the numbers come from. Player counts, approval ratings and session lengths are from Rolimons, captured in the early afternoon of October 3, 2026, and they change by the hour.

First, every game had to clear the same four bars:

• An obstacle course at heart. Stages to clear and falls that cost progress. Games that borrow the word for a building loop are left out.
• A live crowd. A 30-day peak of at least 5,000 concurrent players. The smallest crowd here is that of Carry the Glass Together!, at 11,274.
• Players who like it. At least 70 percent of player votes positive, as Rolimons reports them from each game's Roblox page. Obbies score lower on this measure than the horror games we track: the median approval across the 23 obbies we checked was 79.8 percent, against 91.9 percent across the 33 horror games we checked for our October horror list.
• A developer still shipping. Every game had to be updated within four weeks, and all eight were updated within two.

From there, the order weighs three things: how much of the challenge comes from the course itself, how long a game has held its players, and its momentum this month. We judge the first from public material only, meaning what each game says about itself on its Roblox page.

That's why the list doesn't simply follow the player counts. The game with the biggest crowd sits fifth because, by its own description, speed upgrades share the bill with the course.

The Adellion score beside each game is our editorial judgment out of 10. It's a summary of the case made in the write-up, and it isn't a measurement.

The Best Roblox Obbies To Play In October 2026

Each entry below opens with who made the game and the numbers behind its place, and it says why the game sits where it does.

1. Tower of Hell — 9.3

Tower of Hell asks one question on its Roblox page: can you be the first to the top of a randomly generated obby with absolutely no checkpoints at all? Because the towers are generated, there's no fixed route to memorize, and without checkpoints, one fall can cost you the whole climb.

That makes it the purest test of the rule this list is built on. The difficulty comes from the climb itself, and its average session of about four minutes is the shortest of the eight.

It has lasted, too. More than eight years after launch, it has passed 29 billion visits, and its 30-day peak of 71,822 is the largest of any obby we checked outside the two +1 Speed games.

However, players are more divided on it than on most of the eight. Its approval rating of 73.6 percent is the second-lowest here, and its page also mentions a shop, which owners of VIP servers can lock.

That said, the developers haven't left it alone. The game was updated within an hour of our snapshot.

Play it if you want short, repeatable runs where every fall is your own.

2. Spiral Difficulty Chart Obby — 9.1

Spiral Difficulty Chart Obby is one long climb that starts off easy and gets harder as you progress, in the words of its own page. It has 260 stages, and the page claims only 0.1 percent of players beat the game.

That's the difficulty-chart idea, built into a single spiral. You know the climb will get harder before you start, so the difficulty works as a contract rather than an ambush.

What's more, it's a breakout. It launched in January 2026 under the account of a single creator, Jindijim, and it set its all-time record of 30,833 concurrent players in early September.

Be aware that its later stages are built to punish. Its title carries the label [HELL], and its approval rating of 81.0 percent is fifth-highest of the eight.

The creator is still at it, too: the game was updated three days before our snapshot.

Play it if you want one climb that keeps getting harder, and a stage number to chase.

3. Grapple Cart Obby — 8.9

Grapple Cart Obby is the newest game on this list, and it's growing fast. It launched on August 26, 2026, and it set its all-time record of 20,806 concurrent players in the week before our snapshot.

As its name says, it's a cart obby with a grapple, built for one or two players. Its Roblox page carries no description beyond the title, so it ranks on its numbers alone.

Those numbers are strong. Its approval rating of 93.0 percent is the third-highest of the eight, and it passed 21 million visits in its first five and a half weeks.

It ranks third on momentum rather than track record. A game launched in late August hasn't yet shown that it can hold a crowd, although its developer updated it the day before our snapshot.

Play it if you want something new, alone or with one friend.

4. Carry the Glass Together! — 8.7

Carry the Glass Together! is a two-player co-op obby, and its own page is blunt about it: you can't do it alone. You and a partner carry a fragile pane of glass through an obstacle course, tilting it through tight gaps and past swinging hammers, all the way to the top.

In the page's words, one wrong move can break everything. However, the course has checkpoints, so a shattered pane doesn't send you back to the beginning.

It holds fourth on design rather than size. Its 30-day peak of 11,274 is the smallest crowd of the eight, but its average session of about 12 minutes is the second-longest here, and it set its record about a week before our snapshot.

Keep in mind that you'll need a partner for every run. Its page also calls it an early beta that its solo developer is still improving.

Play it if you have one friend and the patience to coordinate.

5. +1 Speed Keyboard Escape — 8.5

The largest crowd on this list, by far, belongs to +1 Speed Keyboard Escape. Its 30-day peak of 4,611,607 concurrent players is about 64 times Tower of Hell's, and its all-time record of 7,263,327 came on July 18, 2026.

Its page explains the loop: every step adds one to your speed as you run, jump and escape across a world made of candy and chocolate keyboard keys. One wrong move, it warns, sends you back to the start.

It's also the best-liked of the eight, at 96.9 percent approval. Its average session of about 33 minutes is almost three times the next-longest.

That said, it sits fifth because, by its own account, the course shares the bill. Its page pitches speed as something to train, with powerful multipliers to unlock, so a fast run is partly the product of hours spent upgrading.

Play it if you want a race with friends, and you enjoy watching a number climb.

6. +1 Tongue Escape — 8.3

+1 Tongue Escape takes the same escape formula somewhere stranger. Its page tells you to extend your tongue to reach new platforms and slide across it to move through the obstacle course.

That's a new way to move through a course. It launched on August 11, 2026, and it set its record of 57,544 concurrent players about two weeks before our snapshot.

What's more, 95.3 percent of player votes are positive, the second-highest of the eight.

However, it's an upgrade game as well: its page tells you to upgrade your tongue and unlock new abilities as you progress. At less than eight weeks old, it also has no track record yet.

Play it if you want the strangest movement on this list.

7. Obby But You're on a Scooter — 8.1

Obby But You're on a Scooter promises 100 scooter stages to race, jump, drift and boost through. Its page ends on a simple dare: can you beat all 100?

Its momentum is the story. More than a year after launch, it set its all-time record of 11,739 concurrent players about an hour before our snapshot.

Yet it ranks seventh: its approval of 71.7 percent is the lowest of the eight. Tower of Hell sits only 1.9 points higher, but it has eight years of crowds behind it.

It also has a twin. Obby But You're on a Kart, from a different studio, makes the same 100-stage promise with karts, and it's covered in the section on who missed the cut.

Play it if you want a vehicle obby with a clear finish line.

8. Escape Running Head — 7.9

Escape Running Head is the oldest game on this list after Tower of Hell, and its whole pitch fits in five words on its page: run from the running head.

It's a chase through stages, which its page tags as an obby, and Rolimons files it under horror. Its page credits the head, named Felipe, to a fan of the YouTuber Flamingo.

It has a following, though. It has passed 3 billion visits, and its 30-day peak of 22,709 is about four-fifths of its all-time record from December 4, 2021.

It ranks eighth because the course has stopped growing. The update log on its page lists the most recent new stage, Stage 12, in February 2024, although the game itself was updated about two weeks before our snapshot.

Play it if you want a chase with up to five friends.

What Is The Hardest Obby On Roblox In 2026?

It depends on what you mean by hard. For one long climb, Spiral Difficulty Chart Obby's page says only 0.1 percent of players beat its 260 stages, while Tower of Hell is the harshest per attempt on this list, since its towers have no checkpoints at all.

For a ladder of rated climbs, the standard is the game our July edition listed as Juke's Towers of Hell. It has been called Eternal Towers of Hell since an ownership change in 2025, according to its official wiki, and its page describes hundreds of towers ranging from “effortlessly easy to catastrophically difficult.”

It misses our October list on crowd alone. Its 30-day peak is 2,515 concurrent players, according to Rolimons, although it was updated within hours of our snapshot.

The Best Two-Player Obbies On Roblox

Four obbies we checked are built with a pair in mind. Here's what their own pages say:

• Carry the Glass Together! Two players carry one pane of glass to the top, and the page says you can't do it alone. It's No. 4 on our list.
• Grapple Cart Obby. Its title says it's for one or two players, so a partner is optional. It's No. 3 on our list.
• Biker Duo. A two-player motorcycle obby from a self-described new solo developer, whose page asks both players to work together. It holds 97.6 percent approval, but its 30-day peak, 4,544, is under our bar.
• Team School Breakout! A teamwork obby about escaping a school before the teacher catches you. Its approval rating of 68.2 percent sits under our bar.

New Roblox Obbies In 2026

Five of our eight picks launched in 2026, and two of them, Grapple Cart Obby and +1 Tongue Escape, are less than two months old. In addition, two 2026 games outside our eight are worth knowing, with figures from Rolimons on October 3, 2026:

• Build a +1 Obby, July 2026. You build an obby rather than run one: you buy parts, place them at your base, and your obby earns you money. Its 30-day peak of 21,254 is larger than that of three of our eight picks, but it's a building game first.
• Biker Duo, May 2026. The two-player motorcycle obby from the section above. Its 97.6 percent approval is higher than that of any of our eight picks, and its record, 4,544, came on the day of our snapshot.

Neither makes the eight: one is a building game, and the other is under our crowd bar. We'll check both again when the list is rebuilt.

What Changed Since July, And Who Missed The Cut

First, here's how the July edition's eight picks stand now. All figures are from Rolimons, captured on October 3, 2026.

Only Tower of Hell held a place, and the rest show how fast obby crowds move. Flood Escape 2 set its all-time record of 21,486 concurrent players in December 2025, and nine months later its 30-day peak is 793.

Two of the July picks have also gone quiet on the developer side. According to Rolimons, Mega Easy Obby was last updated in January 2024 and STEEP STEPS in February 2026.

A few big names are missing from the new list as well. Each was weighed, and the notable omissions include:

• +1 Speed Monkey Escape. It runs the same +1 Speed formula as Keyboard Escape, and it clears our four bars. However, its crowd has fallen from a record of 1,522,198 on August 22, 2026, to a 7-day peak of 20,785, under 2 percent of that record.
• Barry's Prison Run. A prison-escape obby published under a single creator's account, with more than 4.7 billion visits and a 30-day peak of 29,062. Its approval rating of 60.6 percent is under our bar.
• Team Grandma Escape. A teamwork obby with a 30-day peak of 7,160, whose page tells players who are stuck to buy in-game perks. Its approval rating is 59.3 percent, and it was last updated in June 2026.
• Obby But You're on a Kart. The same 100-stage promise as Obby But You're on a Scooter, from a different studio, BLUEFLOWER STUDIOS. It clears our bars, with a 30-day peak of 7,699 and 76.0 percent approval, but the scooter version has the larger crowd and set its record on the day of our snapshot.

The list isn't fixed. A strong update can change a 30-day peak within a week, and we rebuild the ranking when games launch, close or change enough to move a place.
